Roundtree Way, Norwich

GLJ recently completed the 8-week dilapidation and refurbishment of adjoining warehouse units in Norwich. The previous tenant moved out at the end of the lease agreement, leaving the premises in a state of disrepair and un-marketable to potential new clients or tenants. GLJ won the competitive tender for dilapidation works including full refurbishment of two adjoining commercial/industrial premises.

Works included, roofing and cladding, stripping out and demolishing the mezzanine floor, new electrical installations and emergency lighting throughout, new suspended ceilings, carpentry works, removal of carpets and adhesive from the entirety of the warehouse floors prior to specialist preparation and epoxy coatings.

The works were programmed, detailed and managed to ensure all trades involved had a clear understanding of their schedules and target dates, which successfully resulted in the job being completed on time and to the agreed budget.
