The building services contractor will oversee all works supported by our dynamic team of highly skilled CSCS accredited specialists and craftspeople. We offer a versatile service, and are happy to adapt and shift the focus according to the needs of the project.
We offer building services for a range of projects, both in new builds and refurbishments. Some of the standard building services we cover are listed to the right, and we have a range of experts in-house and available on contract.
We ensure that all building work carried out is of excellent quality and meets our company policy of ‘high standards of workmanship’. We use high quality materials, including metal, wood, marble, plastic, acrylic, glass, and laminate, and are open to exploring new materials to suit your design.

Groundwork
Structural hardstandings, foundations, ground clearance and hand and soft landscaping works.
Construction
Heavyside building services including contract brickwork, blockwork, dry-lining, plastering, rendering and screeding.
Carpentry & Joinery
With in-house experienced and professional tradespeople, GLJ can supply and deliver high quality carpentry and joinery services to meet demand from fire rated door sets to bespoke sales counters and washroom IPS systems.
Roofing
Traditional tile, single ply systems, commercial flat roofing and industrial cladding. GLJ can carry out roof light installations, gutter liners and liquid coatings, roof

Electrical
GLJ can offer a complete commercial and industrial mechanical and electrical services from initial surveys and designs, through to installation, maintenance packages, testing, reporting and commissioning. All our electrical contractors are NICEIC approved with many years experience working on all types of projects from small business refurbishments requiring low voltage (LV) systems, distribution boards and switch gear, to large scale industrial unit fit-outs including high voltage and complex power requirements. We are experienced in providing professional installation of power systems, cable management, 3 phase and single phase power distribution, warehouse high-bay and low-bay lighting and energy efficient office lighting. We can also offer CCTV security & alarm systems, specialist fire alarm installations and now also lighting protection and solar PV systems to suit.
Mechanical
We provide heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services nationwide. These include industrial and commercial gas and oil fired heating systems, pipework fabrication, extraction systems, ventilation and ducting design and installation packages, complete approved air-conditioning heating and cooling installations, service, maintenance and repairs and generic plumbing and heating provisions as standard. Our Gas Safe and OFTEC registered contractors are on-hand, delivering installation and maintenance services, safety testing and commissioning certificates.
Decorating
We can supply and deliver professional decorating services covering small maintenance day works to longer term large scale commercial contracts.
